At Obstacle Fitness, we believe movement should be fun — and we’re here to help you bring that energy to your community. We partner with Parks & Recreation departments to design and run high-energy movement programs that get participants of all ages active, engaged and coming back for more.
Our Approach
Every Parks & Recreation department is different — and so is every community. Before we talk about what we offer, we’d rather talk about what you need. We start by learning about your current program calendar, your participant demographics and where you might have gaps. From there we work together to design something that fits seamlessly into your schedule and excites your community.
Our aim is to be seen less as a vendor and more as a program partner.

Session Programming
Looking to add a recurring movement program to your seasonal offerings? We design and run multi-week session programs that fit your schedule, space and participants. Every program is custom–we handle the curriculum so you don’t have to.

Early Release and Vacation Days
We’re a perfect fit for those days when you need engaging programming, such as early release days, school vacation weeks and holiday activity sessions.

Looking to add something memorable to a special day or community celebration? We bring the energy and handle everything from setup to breakdown, so your staff can focus on what they need to do.
Instant Engagement
Once the course is setup and we’re ready to go, participants are immediately moving, playing and fully immersed in the experience.

We adapt to your space, whether it’s fields, gyms or open areas. If you have the participants, we’ll make it work.

Stress-Free Experience
We handle setup, facilitation, and breakdown with minimal ask of your staff. For larger groups we may occasionally need a staff member at a specific obstacle, but we keep it simple and always come prepared.

Adult Recess
Remember recess? That feeling of pure fun, movement and freedom. We believe adults need that too. Adult Recess is Obstacle Fitness’ way of giving grown-ups permission to play again through a mix of active games, obstacle courses and movement challenges that are as fun as they are good for you.
Adult Recess is a unique addition to any Parks and Recreation calendar and something your community has maybe never seen before. Here’s why it works:

Adult Recess isn’t about who’s the fastest or the strongest. It’s about showing up, trying something new and having fun, regardless of fitness level.
